The Levi’s Young Guns Tour is showcasing in Pretoria on the 21st of July 2006, and of course 52Weeks will be there in full force, guest list and all. Tonight we’ll be watching Soil7t7 and New Academics at Zanzibar, in Faerie Glen, Pretoria. Virgin sonic territory. This Sunday 52 Weeks heads for The 88 Lounge in Norwood for a Levi’s Vintage Sunday with Greenacre and The Parlotones unplugged. Depending on next week’s plans, it might end up that only one of these artists gets the review. We’ll have to wait and see I guess. Well, its reaching the end of the month, and so the fourth week of 52 Weeks looks like it’ll be one of Candy Fly, Niemand, Sugardrive or Subrosa. They’re all playing at the Blues Room in Sandton tonight. I’ve been waiting to see Subrosa for a long time, so hopefully they will not disappoint, and its been ages since I saw Sugardrive play. Well, we’re into week number three, 49 to go. At the current rate I’m going to have to change to 100+ weeks very soon. The next gig to host the 52 Weeks roadshow will be on Saturday 20 May at Nile Crocodile in Pretoria. The bands set to be playing are Epicure, Far Beyond Driven and Subrosa. The band we’re reviewing?
